The Belleville Main Street Association was created in 1998 to foster residential growth and economic development in the downtown area of Belleville, Illinois.
 
 By working with downtown merchants, active members of the community and hard-working volunteers, the Belleville Main Street Association is revitalizing the core of the City of Belleville. A 15-member Board of Directors that represents the variety of interests at work in downtown Belleville and is elected from the membership governs the Association.
